Weekly CPU Prices - Week of June 22, 2009-June 26, 2009
A few significant prices drops help keep things interesting this week's CPU guide. And we remain hopeful that the coming weeks will bring even more of the same. But by and large, most of the prices we track held right where they've been for weeks.
Weekly CPU Prices - Week of June 15, 2009-June 19, 2009
While this week's did contain a couple of double-digit price drops (literally... one from each camp), the overall trend continued to be one of general stagnation. But as we move toward the end of the second quarter and the beginning of the third, we're hopeful that increased competition between the two camps will translate into more in the way of price drops.
Weekly CPU Prices - Week of June 8, 2009 -June 12, 2009
This week's CPU Price guide contains a few scattered price drops, a couple of which might pique some potential buyers' interests. But by and large, prices continue to hold about as steady as we've grown accustomed to seeing in recent weeks.
Weekly CPU Prices - Week of June 1, 2009-June 5, 2009
Overall, CPU prices continue to hold fairly steady for yet another week. A few did manage to drop and price, and those drops are scattered throughout this week's guide. But the majority of the prices we track held right where they've been for a while now.
Weekly CPU Prices - Week of May 25, 2009-May 29, 2009
If you were hoping that this would be the week that the recent pattern of stagnating prices would end, you might be in for something of a disappointment. But the good news is that a handful of the prices we track did manage to drop, even if those drops were fewer in numbers and smaller in amounts than we keep hoping to see.
Weekly CPU Prices - Week of May 18, 2009-May 22, 2009
Alas, the recent trend of stagnant CPU pricing continues for yet another week, with the overwhelming majority of the prices we track in this guide holding right where they've been for weeks. While a few (literally) did manage to keep the guide from being a complete wash, price drops were a scarce commodity in this week's edition.
Weekly CPU Prices - Week of May 11, 2009-May 15, 2009
As we've grown far too accustomed to seeing, and to reporting, this week's CPU price guide contains little in the way of downward price movement. A handful experienced minor drops and a few others moved slightly upwards. But by and large, prices held right where they've been for weeks.
Weekly CPU Prices - Week of May 4, 2009-May 8, 2009
Significant price drops,
we're sorry to report, are nowhere to be found in this week's CPU
price guide. A few small and scattered drops might help keep this
week's guide from being a total wash. But these were so small and so
scattered that there just isn't much to get excited about in this
week's guide.
Weekly CPU Prices - Week of April 27, 2009-May 1, 2009
Unfortunately, our hopes for an uptick in price drops have gone unrealized, as this week's prices hold about as steady as we've ever seen them. Only a few of the prices we track fell at all, in fact; and none of those fell by enough to merit much in the way of notice.
Weekly CPU Prices - Week of April 20, 2009-April 24, 2009
While the majority of the prices we tracked in this week's guide held fairly steady, several fell from last week's prices and a handful fell by significant enough amounts to merit the attention of prospective CPU buyers. Hopefully, the coming weeks will see such drops become less the exception and more the norm.
