VIA Technologies and S3 Graphics have announced the ProSavage PN133T Integrated Mobile Graphics Chipset for the Mobile Intel Pentium III Processor-M. Here are some details on the ProSavage PN133T from the recent press release:

S3 Graphics, Inc. and VIA Technologies, Inc. today jointly launched the ProSavage PN133T. Previously known by its codename Twister T , the ProSavage PN133T is a fully integrated SMA (shared memory architecture) chipset developed specifically for the new mobile Intel Pentium III Processor-M (codename Tualatin ).The ProSavage PN133T combines the feature rich 2D/3D graphics capabilities of the acclaimed S3 Savage4 graphics core with the advanced features of the VIA Apollo Pro133A North Bridge, including 66/100/133MHz Front Side Bus and PC100/133MHz SDRAM support. Building on VIA s leadership position in desktop SMA chipsets, the new ProSavage PN133T adds important mobile attributes such as integrated DSTN support, integrated Dual Channel LVDS, and support for TV Out. The ProSavage PN133T is aimed at the value and mainstream sectors of the mobile marketplace, where its SMA architecture eliminates the dedicated frame buffer by sharing the main system memory while delivering competitive 3D performance. Its integrated memory configuration, extremely low power consumption, and full ACPI compliance save space on the motherboard, reduce thermal considerations and reduce cost, enabling the manufacture of smaller, thinner, and lighter laptops with increased battery life.
