The Associated Press is reporting that Dell Computer Corp. is warning that earnings in the third quarter could be down as the personal computer industry continues to struggle with slowing demand and falling prices. The Round Rock-based company gave the forecast Thursday after posting a $101 million fiscal second-quarter loss due to a hefty restructuring charge.
