Hey, can you guys list some good coop games out there? My friends and I do occassional LAN parties, and we're pretty fed up with the first person shooters.

Well other than FPS, I guess your best bet is strategy games such as Starcraft, Homeworld, Age of Empires, etc.

you should try unreal 1 coop or rune coop
rune's 3rd person btw

If you like space sims, StarLancer's co-op is really fun.

I haven't tried this myslef yet, but Giants is supposed to have a coop mode too. I just bought the game yesterday, and it's absolutely amazing! To think I've passed this up in favour of other less impressive games

Hmmm... Me thinks that I like Diablo.

If y'all are really fed up with FPS's, load up Doom2. Yeah, it's a FPS, but old school FPS's are awesome to play. Don't know why that is, though. Guess it's a bit of nostalga. Plasma rifle... A real BFG...

Operation Flashpoint is a blast playing coop. Helps to use Teamvoice or Roger Wilco, because you won't have time to be typing

You should have a Dreamcast or PS2 at the LAN's because there are alot of fun games. Sport and racing games are always funner playing with a group.

My LAN has been playing Virtual Tennis for along time. We have a double elimination tournament. I am the LAN's nine time singles champion...thank you..thank you..your to kind. My partner and myself are also the six time former champions at doubles. We got spanked last week and lost in the first round.

Last week we all played NBA Street. I had to go buy that game because it is so fun.

no man... it's built into the game. it's really neat if the server admin is using cheats (playing regular mode and beating it about 40 times sorta gets old)
if you have a copy of unreal 1 you should have no problems with it if you know how to set the server up

dude, make sure you update to patch 225f. it might have had support from the start, but i know 225f definitely has coop because i've played it till my eyes fell out and my brain stem fried.
