  • Quake 3 Arena is perhaps the most entertaining benchmark utility id Software has ever released. After running demo001 several hundred times, we almost forgot what it was like to play! At any rate, all of our testing was done by setting the graphics to high quality and changing the resolution. All tests were run with v-sync disabled and a twelve pack (of Mountain Dew).
